About 

Laura has always dreamed of a career in the event and wedding business. After attending numerous weddings of family members growing up, she knew it was the place for her. After graduating from Hamline University in 2014, Laura started working for two wedding and event venues in the Twin Cities. With the experience gained, she decided to follow her dreams of starting her own business.

After planning multiple holiday dinners, concert receptions, garden parties, bridal showers, birthday parties, corporate events, and weddings, Laura decided to launch LJD Events. 

In addition to running LJD Events, she is currently an Event Coordinator at a Twin Cities Venue and is the Wedding Coordinator at Saint James Lutheran Church in West Saint Paul. 

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and checking out the local restaurant scene. She is always looking for a new adventure.
